Advantage Arsenal Could Snap Up Impressive Playmaker From Bitter Rivals.

With the 2013/2014 season over, there has been a lot of opinions by the media and also the fans over which summer signings Arsenal should make or which the Gunners should overlook.

According to reports in the Netherlands, the young Feyenoord star has been picked out by United new boss Louis Van Gaal as a player who could help solve the Old Trafford side’s lack of creativity in midfield.

It follows the 22-year-old’s impressive display for Holland on Saturday, assisting United star Robin van Persie in his goal against Ecuador, to help draw the game 1-1 at the Amsterdam Arena.

And the Red Devils striker was full of praise for his Dutch team-mate after the game, saying: That pass made the goal possible. That was a world-class ball.

“That pass gave me the opportunity to do my thing. I think that pass was more beautiful than my goal.

“The only thing I had to do was control the ball and score.

“That pass from Clasie was world class.”

Clasie has also been linked with a move to Arsenal, who showed interest in signing the young midfielder last summer and will be looking to take their chances once again to bring the talented star to the Emirates. But will now face an even stiffer competition from Manchester United new Appointee Van Gaal and ex-Arsenal man; van Persie who are desperately looking to lure the midfielder to Old Trafford in the summer aswell.

But Arsenal could capitalize on their advantage over the Red Devils to guarantee the youngster Champions League football, something that bitter rivals – United wont be able to offer him, at least not next season.

The Gunners were also interested in his team-mates Bruno Martins Indi and Stefans de Vrij, who have been key in Feyenoord’s recent resurgence.
