INTERESTING: Four WC Stars To Follow Arsenal BOUND Serge Aurier To The Emirates.

Arsenal are pretty sure-footed on the transfer front with the Gunners being quite obstinate by refusing to bring back Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona and also selling the buyback rights of Carlos Vela to Real Sociedad.

With Bacary Sagna going on a free transfer and the looming departure of unhappy Arsenal captain Thomas Vermaelen, conscious moves are already in place to fill the void left by the departing players.

Despite the interest of the likes of Liverpool, QPR and Swansea City, Arsenal has succeeded in agreeing a 5 year deal with Serge Aurier which seem to be the worst kept secret so far. The Ivorian right back from Toulouse who could play anywhere in the defence (not so sure if
Szczesny would give him a chance) is more like an upgraded version of Sagna, as he’s solid in defence as well as can whip in accurate crosses into the box, of which the recent Sagna may be found guilty of.

With £100 million transfer kitty  reportedly given to Wenger in the summer, the Arsenal boss could buy some quality and experienced players and below are some players being reported that Arsene has some headache for:

1. Alexis Sanchez:
Position: forward
The 25 year old is quite pacy but not as fast when compared to Walcott, ruthless in front of goal, he could dribble to save his life, has a cultured right foot while the left is merely for support as he seldom shoot with his left foot and is excellent in the passing game.
release clause: about €63million

2. Luiz Gustavo
Position: Defensive midfield
The 26-year-old Brazilian who is known for his pass accuracy and versatility as he could also play as left back and centre back, can be regarded as a ‘modern day DM’ as he loves to keep things tidy in midfield- making key interceptions with excellent positioning. He was previously linked with Arsenal but moved on to Wolfsburg in search of regular playing time in order to boost his World Cup chances. However age seems not to be on his side as adding him to our ageing central midfield wouldn’t be a long term solution.
Release clause: about £20 million

3. Juan Guillermo Cuadrado:
Position: Right wing
The 26 years old Colombian international who is excessively skillful and pacy, could also be played as an attacking midfielder, has excellent ball control, loves dribbling and could add extra flair to the team. Although he’s not the tallest of players but he has this physical presence that instills fear into the opposition. Worldclass.
Release clause: about €28 million

4. Joël Veltman:
Position: Centre back
22 years of age, plays for Ajax, one of the highly rated young centre halves in Europe. He’s quite experienced for his age which made Netherland’s manager Van Gaal include him in the 23 man list to the 2014 World Cup.

He could be a perfect replacement if Vermalean eventually leaves the club, however Arsenal face massive competition for the youngster with Tottenham reportedly interested in signing him, let’s hope he doesn’t take the path of Vertonghen.
Release clause: about £20 million
