With the transfer window now officially open, all hands with a touch of red and white are on deck from the scouts to Ivan Gazidis, except wenger who is still tied to a contract with French TV station TF1 and only prefers to have dinner with the agent/family of his transfer targets.
Arsenal are making moves to sign an experienced goalkeeper inorder to replace Lukasz Fabianski who left for Swansea City in search of regular playing time.
With lots of goalkeeper targets on the wishlist, the Gunners are weighing options, in view of signing someone who could challenge Szczesny for the number one spot and would not a make a meal of it if used as a second choice.
Now according to the Daily Star, Arsenal have made enquiries on the availability Levante’s first choice goalkeeper-Keylor Navas who is currently on duty with his country-Costa Rica in the 2014 World Cup In Brazil.
The 27 year old has been impressive between the poles for his country, earning 2 man of the match award in the process. He was instrumental for his country qualifying to the quarter-final round after making series of crucial saves and stopping a penalty against Greece which seems to have turned few heads to him, with Liverpool and Atletico madrid keenly interested in the player. He has a release clause of about £10 million and with Levante willing to listen to offers from clubs all seems to be in place for the gunners to sign the player.
Should the Gunners move fast and snap up this shot stopper or should Wenger look away to other goalkeeper options?
