Arsenal Star Eager To Improve On His ‘Game’ Ahead Of The New Season.

Not in every team do you see a player that has an engine like that of our very own ‘Arsenal Player Of The Season’, as the young man could run the entire area of the pitch for 90 minutes and would still not look jaded.

Aaron Ramsey who joined Arsenal in 2008 as a promising youngster has not looked back ever since. Although he had his progress hampered when he had double fracture to his right leg after an horrendous tackle from Ryan Shawcross at the Britannia stadium in early months of 2010.

He went on to have loan spells with Nottingham Forest and cardiff city to speed up his progress,

Fast forward to the 2013/2014 season, Ramsey started it with a bang; scoring goals and providing assists here and there including the famous cross to Mesut Özil which led to the 1st goal in the champions league group match against Napoli.

The 23-year-old raked in four consecutive Arsenal’s ‘Player of the Month’ award between the months of August to November. And although, he had a 3 month lay-off due to injury, Ramsey returned and continued with his impressive displays eventually becoming the Arsenal’s 2013/2014 player of season with 12 goals and 9 assists in 29 appearances (in the EPL and Champions League games) last season.

And now, conversing with the club’s official website. Arsenal star tells all who cares to listen that he is ready to hit the ground running in the upcoming season.

He said“It’s always important to get a good pre-season in you, Over the years, the players that have missed out on pre-
season are always playing catch-up when they come back during the season. It definitely helps players to get off to a good start.”

“It feels really good [to be back]. It’s good to get back into the swing of things again before the season starts
and also see your mates. It’s nice to be back on the pitch.”

“We build things up every day. It becomes a little bit harder every day, which is a good thing. You’re not thrown straight into the deep end. It’s
definitely a gradual process.”

“I’m just happy [with my progress] and I want to keep on working on my game. Hopefully I can keep improving and get better and better. That’s my target now – just to improve on my game and keep on building every season.”

“I’ve been through a lot in my short career so far. I’ve had a bit of everything so it was nice to have a good season, score the number of goals that I did and be recognised alot more. I’ve always believed in myself and what I can do, and I think a lot of people realised that last year and that’s what I’m more happy about.”

We all know what a fully fit Ramsey could bring to our team, and i would prefer Arsenal sell the likes of Fabregas,Van persie , Nasri all over again, but keep our ‘Welsh Messi’ at the club. COYG!!!
