Arsenal Star Already Talking Of Winning More Trophies!!

One of Arsenal’s most inform midfielder who have all to show for it  by winning the Arsenal player of the 2013/2014 season with 58 percent of the votes as well as picking up an outstanding 5 Man of The Match award last season has urged the Gunners to push for more glory upfront next season.

The 23-year-old who was outstanding for Arsenal last season, although went down with an injury that threatened to ruin his season, went on to being the most impressive player with 16 goals and 9 assists to his name also going on to being named as one of the six players on the shortlist for the PFA Young Player of the Year award.

Now with the Arsenal pre-season underway the Gunners star has revealed his intentions for the coming season saying his plans are to win more trophies. The Welsh who just tied the nuttal nut with his long time girlfriend over the break has talked up Arsenal’s hopes of winning more major silverwares in the coming season.

The player while speaking to Arsenal’s official website said;

“I think we have a great opportunity,”

“Hopefully all the people that have played at the World Cup come back strong and fit and we can hit the ground running when the season starts.

“The feeling we got after winning the FA Cup was something special and I’m sure that everybody wants the same thing again this season. We’ll be giving it everything to win a few things this year.

“The media were always saying things like ‘Arsenal haven’t won a trophy for this many years’. The number kept getting higher so it was important to win something to take that burden away. It takes the pressure off us.

“I think the team has come on a long way in the last couple of seasons. We’ve grown a lot – there’s a great team spirit here, everybody wants to work for each other so we’ll give it a good go.”
