Arsenal Star Drop Hint Of One Or Two More Big Name Signings To Come.

Arsenal Star believes the team is stronger following the addition of Chilean international – Alexis Sanchez and French right back – Mathieu Debuchy. But went on hinting that the Gunners will add more quality to the squad.

The Gunner’s first choice goalie – Wojciech Szczesny while speaking to the club’s official website said:

“It’s good,” he told

“Obviously you want to add more strength to your team and adding that little bit more quality to what we had last year is only going to make us stronger. Hopefully that will bring better results this season.

“Yeah, [the players all] talk about it. You look on Sky Sports News and you see who’s going to sign for us and talk about it in the dressing room – that goes on for a couple of months.

The Gunner’s first choice goalkeeper revealed that he is always happy to hear Arsenal being linked with a move for big name players, he further hinted that “hopefully there’s one or two more to come”

“It’s always good when you hear about big names and possible signings, and hopefully there’s one or two more to come.”

Szczesny had a quiet afternoon at Boreham Wood on Saturday, but says the match was a useful workout for the team.

“We’ve only been training for a couple of weeks and you could tell that the Boreham Wood players were really fresh and we found it hard, especially at the start,” he said.

“It was only at the end where we moved the ball about and Boreham Wood players ran after it that we created some space and some chances.

“Results don’t matter at this point, it wouldn’t have made a difference if we had won this game six or seven nil. It’s a good 2-0 win and everyone got a good run-out.”

The Arsenal squad this week jetted out to New York to take on former Arsenal player and Legend Thierry Henry’s New York Red Bulls this Saturday in what will be our second pre-season game ahead of the coming season.
