Transfer Boost: Arsenal Given Green Light To Land Yet Another Midfield Star.

When the world sees you climbing to the top, they celebrate and commend you. but when going down! the good people are the ones who would let you be while you sink deeper in your predicament while the not-so-good fellows among them would join hands and drag you down.

This could explain the precarious situation in which Southampton find themselves right now. As the club who finished 8th in the premier league in the 2013/2014 and were praised by all and sundry have now embarked on a ‘sell for all’ campaign with Liverpool currently the leading ahead of other clubs with a high margin.

Wenger has always admired Morgan Schneiderlin and now that the Khedira’s deal isn’t near completion, it’s high time he swoops in and claim the player who was inarguably the best defensive midfielder in the English Premier League last season.

From all indications, Arsenal have been given all the green lights to come for Schneiderlin as Southampton are reportedly ready to sell the player for a premium fee within the region of £24 million, which to me is a bargain price, considering the quality of the player.

But what if they no longer want to sell the player? Well, they have no moral justification to hold back the player as they sold Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana to Liverpool. Still after saying they would no longer sell their players, they are about to succumb to the pressure from Dejan Lovren to move to the same club. While Cardiff City have offered £3 million for Jose Fonte. Good to know that they don’t keep to their words.

Despite this facts, if Southampton still think that they could keep him then it’s now up to Wenger to speak some French and the player could then read the riot- act to his club and Arsenal could have their man.

Let’s hope Wenger is interested in this player because that could only be the hitch for this deal not to go through.
