5th Signing??? Wenger Closing In On Another Striker Target! Not Balotelli.

I had to check if by any means we were close to the summer transfer window deadline and was reminded we were not even in the month of August and yet Arsenal has already signed up 4 stars for themselves,

this has gotten everyone connected with the club buzzing and the fans are excited and can’t seem to fathom what’s happening to their club or the sudden change in style in the transfer market where the Gunners were used to watching their targets slip out of their grasp due to being outbidded by rivals and having their squad raided by the top teams in Europe. Long live this feeling.

It appears that the Arsenal’s management are not resting on their oars and are still making conscious efforts to add quality players to the squad with the attacking department now on the spotlight. You recall Ivan Gazidis recently said that the transfer rumours making the rounds are nowhere near what they are thinking, and this move seems to have beaten our imaginations yet again.

While the media were busy reporting about Loic remy, Mario Balotelli and companions, Wenger’s interest was no where near that and i’m sure he’s having this smug on his face right now because he has taken the media on yet another ride.

Reports reaching us has it that Arsenal are in talks with Shakhtar Donetsk and are said to be keen on bringing Brazilian attacker – Douglas Costa to the Emirates stadium.

It’s also reported that Arsene Wenger sees him as a player who could also feature as a striker if this deal pulls through.

The 23- year-old was a dominant figure for his Ukranian club as he played a major role in helping them retain the league title scoring 4 league goals and 9 assists in 27 league appearances.

However, he has refused to go back to his club stressing the current political strife between Ukraine and Russia. It is left to be seen if Arsenal would seal his deal permanently or just have him for a season long loan.
