Arsenal Handed Massive Transfer Blow.

Is there any transfer season that would go by without Arsenal being caught up in a transfer market Saga?

Arsenal fans thought that the Khedira to Arsenal deal would be the first to be signed and sealed with the club announcing his deal after the World Cup and were expecting him to join our German trio to the Emirates.

But it appears that their hopes of seeing this midfielder at the club has taken yet another hit as another strong club has entered the race for his signature.

The 27-year-old World Cup winner’s exotic wage demand has been a stumbling- block to Arsenal’s capturing of him, as the club could not meet his asking wage, believed to be in the region of £160,000. But, it was then later reported that he would lower it for the deal to pull through.

However, recent reports coming out of Spain are suggesting that German giant – Bayern Munich are now interested in acquiring his services after they sold Toni Kroos to Real Madrid and they have devised a means to get him on the cheap.

It is reported that Bayern have promised the player that they would match his wage demands if he could see out his contract at Madrid which would be expiring by the end of the 2014/2015 and join them on a Bosman.

The chance of returning back to his home country would be an offer too strong to turn down and with his management prioritising financial considerations before his on-field matters, you sure know where he could end up next season.

Chelsea are also reported to be strongly linked with the Star, but little is left to be known if it’s just a move to disrupt Arsenal’s move for the player or another hijacking of the Gunners deal.

As it is said, A player has all the power in the world when it comes to his transfer dealings.

Let’s see if he would denounce the temptations of ‘The Benjamins’ and join us. However, i sincerely hope his ‘bromance’ with Mesut Özil plays a huge role in twisting his neck to the Emirates.
