When Arsenal secured the signing of Alexis Sanchez earlier this month from Barcelona for a fee believed to be in the region of £32 million, the fans and Arsenal team were absolutely ecstatic, with many already in dreamland, imagining the combination of the new star signing’s skills, pace and power along with that of Theo Walcott. Indeed such thought (as it has on Theo Walcott) must have gone through the minds of every Arsenal faithful at one point or the other since the arrival of the Chilean.
Walcott got injured during the 2nd half of the season, in the English FA Cup clash against an inform Tottenham at the Emirates stadium, when Walcott was involved in a challenge with Danny Rose which damaged the anterior ligament cruciate of his right knee.
The player has been working his way back to training and has since carried the Arsenal fans along on his recovery back to full fitness.
The pacy winger took to his official account on popular social media outlet Instagram, sharing a picture of himself and Alexis Sanchez.
The 25-year-old who missed out on the World Cup for the Three Lions further commented on the picture posted saying;
“Watch out #PremierLeague Me and @Alexis_Sanchez will be a deadly force!! #afc #COYG #SpeedMatters”
