Arsenal’s World Cup winning German star Lukas Podolski has been the subject of a transfer speculation with reports linking the Arsenal forward away from the Emirates this summer.
Rumours have continued to fuel of the jovial 29-year-old’s imminent exit and several clubs have been linked with the lively forward.
The Arsenal no9 holder have been heavily linked with moves away from the Emirates to Serie A giants – Juventus and Bundesliga outfit – Wolsfburg, among several other clubs across Europe all seeking to get the signature of the former Bayen Munich man.
These rumours soon began to look like facts as the Arsenal forward was omitted from Arsene Wenger’s squad that traveled to Goodison Park last weekend to take on Everton.
This sparked off a lot of reports suggesting the player was close to a deal away from the Emirates considering the return of fellow German teammate that were involved in the match against Roberto Martinez’s men after the trio had previously being rested since their return from their World Cup outing.
Podolski who is an avid user of social media networks took to his official account on popular social media outlet; Instagram posting a picture with a message that seem to indicate his soon to be announced exit from the club.
Podolski took out Arsenal FC from his Bio on Instagram.
Aside the message posted alongside the picture post, the forward has also ceased to use the famous and popular #AFC, #RedArmy and #Gunner harsh tag which he has always famously used on his post’s on social media platforms. He’s on his way out for sure if you ask me.
below is the picture post and message posted by the Arsenal star.
It is left to see who Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will replace the German forward with, and that would be if he will still bring in another striker for the Gunners before the end of the season.
