With just a little over 6 days left till the closure of the summer transfer window, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger after having revealed that he is still in business to sign more player to add to the dept and quality to his squad is yet to make more signing.
Although the French gaffer have since the start of the transfer window added four players and have seen on-loan star Joel campbell return to the Arsenal team.
However many Arsenal fans still feel there is a need for Wenger to add more player this summer with many of the fans insisting the squad needs about 3 more signings in a striker, a central defensive midfielder and a centre defender to get the team complete to challenge for silverware this season.
And although Arsenal have since been linked with an avalanche of star so far across Europe, no real move have been made to secure the signing of any.
Fresh report have now linked Arsenal with League One side star.
According to reports making the round, Arsenal have joined several other clubs in the race to sign Preston North End talented youngster Josh Brownhill after the 18-year-old had been impressive for the League One side last season and have once again raised the bar this term with another outstanding performance for the Deepdale outfit this new season.
The former Manchester United school boy has also attracted interest from a host of other Premier League club with Liverpool, Everton and West Bromwich Albion set to battle Arsenal for the signature of the youngster.
Among several of the young midfield star’s standout performance is one of his goals of last term which was voted PNE’s Goal of the Season at the end of last season.
However, according to reports, it is believed that Preston will be unlikely to let the player leave the club this season and any move by other clubs for the youngster will see the club still keep ahold of the midfielder on a season-long loan at the very least.
