According to Sport Witness, 25-year old French man, Moussa Sissoko, virtually offered himself to Arsene Wenger in an interview with L’Equipe.
Wenger, who according to various report has an eye on the midfielder in January has been given full green light as the Frenchman has only now made it easier with his blunt revelation.
“When I was young, Arsenal was my favourite club” Sissoko said.
“There was my idol Patrick Vieira. I’ve always loved this club. I still love them. Afterwards, there was a lot of rumours. I do not pay too much attention. I have an agent (Bakari Sanogo) that takes care of that. If something should happen, it will happen.”
Sissoko sounds as though he is so interested in a move to Arsenal, that it will only take a Wenger phone call to sign, seal and have it delivered.
Of course he went on to insist he was still a Magpie at the moment despite having the lofty ambitions every footballer aspires after – Champions League, winning trophies, and those other mentioned by fellow Blue, Morgan Schneiderlin.
Player Details Name: Moussa Sissoko
Date of birth:16/08/1989
Place of birth: France
Club: Newcastle United
Sissoko is one of the most in form midfielders in the Premier League at the moment, not necessarily due to his goals but because of his all-round display for Newcastle.
Though he could be blamed for his role in Adam Johnson’s winner in the Tyneside derby, two of his only goals for the Geordies this season have come in crucial games – the first being in the win at the Etihad in the League Cup as well as the winner at home to Harry Rednknapp’s QPR in November.
