Hull City vs Arsenal. KC Stadium, 4th May 2015.
Hull City will play host to Arsene Wenger and his men in Monday night’s Premier League kick-off.
Despite the Premier League title been lost to Chelsea over the weekend, Wenger and his lads will go into the match against the Tigers knowing that no team has been more consistent than them since the turn of the year and no Arsenal player has been more consistent than Alexis – recently voted into the PFA Team of the Year.
Alexis will fancy his chances of scoring against Hull for a third consecutive time, and he is part of an in-form Arsenal squad who is expected to make the trip to KC Stadium tonight.
Only Mathieu Debuchy is out of the Arsenal squad with a hamstring injury he picked up in training, although Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mikel Arteta and Abou Diaby are not yet deemed fit enough to return to the squad according to Wenger.
Laurent Koscielny – one of Arsenal’s most consistent players, is poised to make his 200th appearance for Wenger’s team.
Wenger said: “Finishing second means we are better than 18 teams. You want more because you want to finish first but, still, all the teams behind you would exchange [their place for] that.”
Wenger has revealed that he is not settling for less even though the Premier League title has been won by Chelsea, and so a strong Arsenal line-up is still expected for the match at the KC Stadium tonight.
