Arsenal delve into the upcoming transfer window seems to be taking a rather speedy fashion as there are reports that the Gunners have tabled a surprise bid for long time target
Arsenal have reportedly made a transfer offer for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain according to Fichajes.net.
The Gunners are keen to add a new striker to their ranks ahead of the new season to provide serious competition for Olivier Giroud and Arsene Wenger believes the Argentine forward fits the bill.
The former Real Madrid striker is known as one of the deadliest finishers in world football and is looking for a move away from Napoli this summer.
The 27-year-old has been a long time target of Wenger, with the Frenchman reportedly failing on several occasions to land his signature
With 25 goals and 10 assists this season, Arsenal fans can be sure of a proven striker within their ranks if the tabled bid successfully go through.
However, Arsenal would have a fight on their hands for Higuain’s signature with Juventus and Atletico Madrid also keen.
