Arsenal’s delve in the upcoming transfer window seems to be taking a rather surprising fashion as there are reports that the Gunners are set to land Premier League’s pass-master.
Arsenal have been given the go ahead to land Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng, according to the Express.
It was earlier reported that the Gunners made a surprising transfer move for the South Korean international, with Sky Sports claiming that Wenger has approached the Swans over the availability of the midfielder with talks already begun.
Wenger is in the market to bolster his midfield ahead of next season and have identified the 26-year-old as a cheaper option to the likes of Morgan Schneiderlin and Geoffrey Kondogbia.
And now fresh reports say the Gunners have moved a step closer to completing the transfer of the 26-year-old with the club happy to accept £15m for the player.
Ki has been in excellent form this season at the Liberty Stadium and Arsene Wenger has been sufficiently impressed to make a move.
Arsenal fans, is Ki an ideal midfield target for our ambitions next summer?
