Arsenal have reportedly been dealt a massive transfer blow with fresh reports that summer midfield target Ilkay Gundogan has finally agreed a deal with rival club Manchester United and the transfer of the midfielder is set to be announced by United.
This report is coming amid claims that the German midfielder was in talks with Barcelona last week over a potential move this summer.
He told Spanish newspaper Marca per Daily Star: “Yes, we are negotiating. I have not taken any decision yet but I’m open to all possibilities.
“We do not know where I will play.”
But fresh reports according to Sportsvibe claim United have won the race to his signature.
The report says the Red Devils are “on the verge” of announcing him as their second signing following the arrival of Memphis Depay.
