Arsenal have Monday, reportedly completed the transfer of Chelsea’s Petr Cech, according to the Daily Mail.
The Chelsea legend has made over 300 appearances for the Blues, but is believed to have asked to leave Stamford Bridge for a move to across London to the Emirates Stadium.
The 33-year-old veteran will be moving north of London for a fee of around £11million, and his arrival will no doubt strengthen Arsene Wenger’s side ahead of the new season.
Interestingly, Cech’s first official match for the Gunners could be against Chelsea in the Community Shield later this summer.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Wojciech Szczesny and David Ospina, with speculation that both keepers may be making a transfer away from north London in the summer.
