Arsenal have reportedly joined the race for one of Premier League’s breakthrough stars.
West Broms’s striker Saido Berahino has been linked with a move to Arsenal.
But the Gunner’s will do battle with Manchester City, Liverpool and Newcastle for the signature of the England U21 international, according to the Daily Star.
The youngster had a breakthrough season last term for the the Baggies and reports claim Wenger is considering him as an attacking alternative to Olivier Giroud.
However, West Brom boss is reportedly unwilling to let the 21-year-old leave his side this summer, despite only two years left on his contract.
But with the young striker refusing to pen down a new contract at West Brom, the Baggies have now slapped a staggering £30million for the forward to put off potential suitors.
Berahino has found the back of the net 10 times in 11 games for the England U21 side.
The striker is keen on a top-four move, and with his goal returns looking very irresistible, it is very hard to see him not getting his wish this summer.
