Latest reports from Spain have suggested that Real Madrid are considering letting striker Karim Benzema leave the Bernabeu as long as they can get a good offer for him – a news that is likely to excite Arsenal, according to the Metro.
With new boss Rafeal Benitez set to deploy Cristiano Ronaldo as his main center forward next season, Benzema might see his chances of getting regular playing time cut short, hence Madrid are willing to cash-in on their Prized French International this summer.
Both Arsenal and PSG are interested in signing the forward with the Gunners manager Arsene Wenger reportedly putting a call across to Benzema possibly to convince him to make the switch to north London this summer.
Benzema, 27, rejected a move to join Arsenal in 2013 opting instead to remain at Madrid but with the La-Liga giants reportedly bent on pushing through his exit, he will be open to a move to the Emirates Stadium and Arsenal are ready to pounce, as they seek to strengthen their strike force next season.
