Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push next season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best in the summer to achieve his target.
Arsenal have reportedly completed the signing of highly talented star Joao Virginia from Portuguese giants Benfica.
According to reports emerging from Portugal per the Metro, The Gunners have fended off competition from fellow Premier League rivals Manchester United to complete the signing of the highly rated goalkeeper.
The report says the Gunners have secured the 15-year-old’s signature on a four-year deal at the Emirates Stadium and will follow latest youngster signings Donyell Malen and Ismael Bennacer to north London.
The youngster, who reportedly turned down an offer to join Manchester United – despite being on trial at Old Trafford earlier this year, will join Arsenal’s youth setup and will work his way up the Arsenal system, with the hopes of making it into the senior team in the future.
