Arsenal have been placed on red alert to complete the signing of high rated forward Keita Balde Diao with news of the player set to exit Serie A side Lazio.
This report is according to Football Italia who claims the Gunners could swoop in for Keita following a huge row he had with the President of Lazio Claudio Lotito last weekend, after he was left out of the Saturday’s clash against defending Champions Juventus.
The report also says the 20-year-old Spanish-born Senegalese has demanded a transfer move away from Lazio, with claims he may be heading to the Emirates this summer.
Arsenal manager Arsenal Wenger is said to be a huge fan of the Barcelona La Masia academy product and could be willing to offer the forward – who is valued at around £10.6million, a chance at Arsenal.
Keita, while at Cornella’s youth side – on loan from Barcelona, scored a whopping 47 goals in the 2010/2011 season; attracting interests from several top clubs including Manchester United, Arsenal and Real Madrid.
