This report is according to popular Italian media outlet Football Italia, who claim Arsenal are on red alert after transfer target Keita Balde Diao demanded to leave Serie A outfit Lazio this summer.
The Spanish-born Senegalese reportedly had a row with President of Lazio Claudio Lotito after he was left out of Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Serie champions Juventus, and is now reportedly set for a move away from Italy, with north London a reported destination for the youngster.
Keita joined Barcelona at age nine, coming up the ranks at the club’s prestigious La Masia academy before he was loaned out to Cornella’s youth side for the 2010/2011 season.
The 20-year-old forward went on to score a staggering 47 goals for Cornella attracting several interest from top clubs including Real Madrid, Arsenal and Manchester United.
