Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the progress of Hadjuk Split midfielder Nikola Vlasic.
The midfielder who is dubbed the next Luka Modric is also linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan. He has been closely monitored by clubs from all over the continent in the last one year.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Arsenal are not looking to bring the midfielder to the Emirates in January but should he continue to shine at Hadjuk, the North London club will rival Inter Milan for the player’s signature in the summer.
The player marked his 18th birthday last month and already has 58 appearances and six goals for Hadjuk Split.
Inter Milan are reportedly in pole position to sign the 18 year old with Hadjuk Split sporting director recently commenting on the links:
“Inter have been following the player for some time but so are a lot of others because he is a player capable of playing at a high level,” Hajduk sporting director Goran Vucevic said.
“From our point of view, there is absolutely no hurry to sell him.
“We would like him to stay and grow with us for another year but if we were to get a big offer then we would have to consider it.
“However, there is no need for us to sell Vlasic.”
