Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in winter, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
Arsenal are interested in signing Paris Saint Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot and wants him to be a new part of his new look midfield for the second half of the season.
The winger informed le Parisien that he’d be interested in a move out of the club in January, which subsequently angered the club’s hierarchy but the French international is determined for more playing time as he hopes to be part of the Les Blues squad for the Euro 2016 championship.
According to the Telegraph, Arsene Wenger is interested in signing Rabiot and he is keen to pair the French midfielder with Mohamed Elneny who is on the verge of completing his switch to the Emirates.
According to the Metro, the Gunners are preparing a fee of £15m for the French international as they hope to strengthen their midfield this month.
Rabiot has been linked with a move to the Emirates for quite sometime and Wenger is now keen on bringing the 20 year old to the Emirates.
The midfielder has also been linked with a move to Tottenham but with Tottenham having a wonder midfield pairing in Delle Alli and Eric Dier, the midfielder may not be interested in a move to White Hart lane.
Rabiot has played eleven times for PSG this season and has one goal to his name.
