Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push this season and the boss is aware of
the need to bring in only the best to achieve his target.
According to reports, Arsenal have finally agreed personal terms to sign Mohamed Elneny from FC Basel.
The Metro report Elneny has completed medicals in Paris and also had personal terms worth around £60,000-a-week for four-and-a-half years.
The Egyptian international is set to fill in for either Francis Coquelin or Santiago Cazorla with both pair expected to be out until March.
Arsenal fans will be hoping a more recognized and strong defensive midfielder will make the switch to the Emirates, however, his low fee in relation to other targets could make him Arsenal first signing in January.
Reports suggest Elneny will be unveiled tomorrow as he was spotted at London ahead of tomorrow’s Arsene Wenger’s pre-game press conference where he will be presented with an Arsenal shirt.
