Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push this season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best to achieve his target.
Arsenal may have finally seal a deal for Ukrainian international Andriy Yarmolenko from under the noses of Premier League rivals Everton.
According to The EXPRESS, it was thought Toffees boss Roberto Martinez was prepared to offer £21 Million for Yarmolenko in an effort to force through a move in this transfer window, and the winger’s agent Vadim Shabily has been spotted at Goodison Park on more than one occasion and even posted a picture of himself alongside Martinez.
But according to Ukrainian publication SPORT via The EXPRESS, it is claimed that the Gunners have now agreed a deal to bring the 26 years old to the Emirates but it would be in the summer as Dynamo Kiev President Ihor Surkis want to keep hold of the Ukraine international for the Champions League tie with Manchester City.
The winger has scored 13 goals in 22 appearances for Kiev this season and has represented his country 55 times already only recently signed a new five year deal with the Ukrainian club last year but now looks destined for a move away in the summer. The Gunners would have secured a real player with potentials if the deal is completed.
