Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push this season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best to achieve his target.
Arsenal’s January transfer target, Kelechi Nwakali’s brother Allwell Nwakali has confirmed that the teenager will complete his transfer to the Emirates within this week once he is granted a visa.
Nwakali and Chukwueze have been heavy linked with a move to the Emirates for a while now and unconfirmed rumours are stating that the deal is almost completed.
Nwakali was the skipper of the Nigerian Under-17 side that conquered the world in Chile last year with Nwakali emerging as the most valuable player of the tournament while Chukwueze shown for the golden eaglets playing from the wings.
According to Complete Sports Nigeria, there was suggestions that FIFA’s new clampdown on the transfer of players below the age of 18 poses a real threat to the Nigerian youngster’s move to the Emirates, but Allwell who happens to be the elder brother to Kelechi Nwakali said that the deal is right on track.
Nwakali and Chukwueze would join Nwankwo Kanu and Alex Iwobi as the few Nigerians to dawn the Gunners colours once this deal is sealed.
