Arsene Wenger has revealed that he is unconcerned by fan’s protest, according to Standard sport.
Arsenal fans unfurled a banner on Tuesday night calling for the French man to step down from the mangerial seat but the 66 year old has revealed that he is not bothered about what the fans think.
Wenger who has guided the team to just four wins in the last thirteen games is currently under pressure as the team drifted further away from the top of the League table in the period of this last 13 games. This has left supporters frustrated, who believed that with the Manchester clubs and Chelsea doing poorly this term, it was the Gunners best chance to win the league.
With the club faced with a heavy task at the Camp Nou next week and with the current position on the league table, Wenger could see his side fall out of the league’s title race and the Champions league before the end of March and Fans have called on the French man to take up the blame and quit the club. However, Wenger is paying no attention to any of that and claims he doesn’t care what people think.
“It is nothing disappointing for me.
“I do my job. You look at the history of the club since the club exists and you see I have nothing to be scared of.”
“I don’t care. I don’t want to speak about that.
“It’s always the same story. I told you already, sometimes the press conference are very boring and it is enough now. If you have any other questions [go ahead] but you do not come back to me with that…
“We judge the season after the season and I’m quite amazed that so many people want to judge so early. Assess the season at the end of the season but we have not given up anywhere and you will see that in the coming weeks.
“I believe that this club has been in [a] much worse position than it has been in today.”
