Arsenal are already preparing for life without Alexis Sanchez as the club has already identified AC Milan’s Carlos Bacca as his replacement, according to reports.
Sanchez is attracting interest from a number of top clubs in Europe with Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Juventus reportedly interested in the Chilean international.
Although the Gunners are unwilling to sell the Chilean international but are aware they could be forced to sell should the player be interested in a move.
According to Italian publication Tuttosport via football fan cast, Arsenal are already looking at the possibility of replacing Sanchez with Bacca.
The flaw in the report is Carlos Bacca is a centre forward while Alexis Sanchez is a winger, so Bacca as a replacement for Sanchez is kind of flawed.
However, the Gunners are reportedly interested in signing a striker as Wenger prepares to strengthen his squad ahead of next season and Bacca could now be on the club’s wish list.
Alexis Sanchez had previously indicated that he is happy at the Emirates and is not preparing to leave, he said: “I am very happy at Arsenal and I’m not thinking about leaving. The unity here between fans, club and players is enormous and the supporters have been fantastic. We suffer the defeats and enjoy the victories together.”
