Arsenal star Mesut Ozil is confident he will win titles at the Emirates despite the team blowing away the chance to lift the Premier League title this season.

Ozil is being linked with a move away from the Emirates with Spanish giants Barcelona reportedly interested in his services.

It was even claimed by some media house that the midfielder has told the club he is prepared to leave this summer should Arsene Wenger remain as the club boss, a report which Ozil publicly denied.

The midfielder also publicly rejected rumours linking him with an exit this summer and he claims he is happy at the Emirates.

Many have claimed this season was the club’s best chance to win a major trophy but Ozil believes the club will be successful in the future should Wenger sign quality players in the summer transfer window.

“I still have two more years after this season, as I have said in the past, I feel really good,” he told BT Sport, as quoted by HITC sport.

“I always want to play for the biggest teams in the world, and in the competitions like the Champions League and it is my goal to win many titles, and I know that I can win titles with this team.”

“You can realise your dreams here, and if we get in a few more good players, I think that will happen.”

This is not the first time Ozil is urging the club to spend big in the winter transfer window as the German had previously urged Wenger to be active this summer if we are to be better than Manchester City and other rivals.

Ozil currently has two years left in his current deal and should the club fail to show great ambition in the summer transfer window by signing top quality players, Ozil could be tempted not to commit his future to the club beyond these two years.
