Juventus are interested in signing Arsenal Winger Alexis Sanchez, according to reports.

Arsenal’s key men have been linked with moves away from the Emirates after the Gunner bottled the chance to win the league this season. It was first Ozil and now Alexis Sanchez.

According to Italian website Football Italia via the Daily Express, Juventus are looking to tempt the forward away from the Emirates.

The report claims the winger is frustrated at the Emirates after the club failed in its attempts to win the Premier League title and Juventus are looking to take advantage of the winger’s situation.

It is believed that Sanchez wants to play for a club who can genuinely challenge for the Champions League title and the report claims Juventus can offer the midfielder that opportunity as well as the opportunity of winning Serie A titles.

Juventus are long term admirers of the Chilean international with the Serie A champions failing in their attempts to sign the forward when he was leaving Udinese and Barcelona.

However, Sanchez has two years left in his Arsenal contract and Wenger has opened talks with the forward in a bid to keep him away from potential suitors. Juventus are really going to find it difficult to convince Arsene Wenger to part with the Chile international.

According to the report, Juventus on their own part will only pursue a move for Sanchez should they lose Alvaro Morata this summer. Morata is heavily touted to return to Real Madrid for £24m this summer and Juventus are prepared to use the funds gotten from Morata’s sale into securing a move for Sanchez. It is very unlikely that Wenger would consider selling Sanchez for a mere £24m. Also the player’s wages is expected to be a tough issue for the Italian club as Sanchez’ current £7m a year salary more than doubles that of Paul Pogba who is currently Juventus highest paid player, via the report.

Sanchez currently has 18 goals in 40 appearances this season and has also created 11 goals for his teammates.
