Liverpool are the latest to indicate it’s interest in signing Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante, according to the Daily Star.

Klopp is prepared to sign the midfielder ahead of his rivals as he attempts to bolster his squad.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal have all been linked with the midfielder and Leicester City believes the 25 year old French international is the most likely of their title winning stars to leave the club this summer. The Foxes have received more enquiries for the midfielder than for any other player in their squad.

Wenger is reportedly very interested in the player and is prepared to activate the £22m release clause in his contract later this summer. Manchester United boss Mourinho sees him as a younger version of Claude Makelele who was a key member of the Portuguese squad in his first stint at Chelsea while Chelsea have also identified the midfielder as one who could shore up their midfield which looked light last season.

Wenger is interested in replacing Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini this summer and reportedly still has space in the squad for a midfielder signing this summer, hence the reason he wants Kante.  The Boss recently fuelled speculations linking Kante to the Emirates when he revealed his admiration for the player and the French tactician would be prepared to rival Liverpool and others for the signature of the midfield enforcer.

Kante was a key member of Leicester City’s title winning squad of last season and the French midfielder is reportedly open to a move away from the King Power Stadium this summer.
