Juventus are looking to sign Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez this summer, according to reports.

The Italian giants have been linked with a move to sign the Chile international and it seems the Serie A Champions are now set to make an official move.

According to Italian TV Telelombardia via the Daily Express, Juventus have approached Sanchez’s agent Fernando Felicevich as regards signing the player.

The report claims the Italian giant sees Sanchez as a perfect replacement for Alvaro Morata who is set to leave the club. Morata has been linked with a move to the Emirates as Wenger attempts to strengthen the squad but Juventus are looking to weaken the club by snapping up Sanchez.

The report also claims Juventus are prepared to offer Sanchez a salary package worth €4.2m a year.

The winger has two years left in his Arsenal contract and is yet to sign a new deal at the club. This has given interested clubs hope as they feel the winger may be interested in a move away from the Emirates. However, Wenger has vowed to keep hold of his best players and we expect the French tactician to reject Juve’s attempts to sign the player. The French tactician is also hopeful Sanchez will sign a new deal at the club before the start of next season.

The new shirt number given to Sanchez indicates the club’s willingness to keep him for next season and we don’t just see the possibility of Juve convincing Wenger to part company with the Winger. Sanchez moved to the Emirates in 2014 and is now one of the most important players in the squad.
