Arsene Wenger has heaped more praise on Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante amidst reports linking the midfielder with a move to the Emirates.
Wenger is reportedly very keen on signing the midfielder and fueled those rumours recently by praising the midfielder few weeks ago. The French tactician has hailed the 25-year-old midfielder again describing him as ‘exceptional’. It is believed that Wenger is interested in signing the midfielder despite completing the signing of Granit Xhaka
Speaking on the midfielder’s performances against Albania last week, Wenger said:
‘He [Kante] is everywhere. He is especially intelligent. He is always on the move but always where he needs to be.
‘Sometimes you say to yourself, ‘why are you going there?’, and then he is able to retrieve a ball that nobody expected him to recover.
‘After 20 minutes [against Albania] I had already counted three fantastic interceptions. In Europe, the best defensive midfielders make four per game. He is above six, generally. This is exceptional.’
Chelsea and Manchester United have also been linked with the midfielder but Leicester City are keen to keep the player at the King Power Stadium next year. However, the player has so far remained coy on his future and has revealed he will take a decision on his future after the Euro 2016 competition.
