According to reports making the round, Skysport reports Arsenal have missed out in signing Simone Zaza from Juventus this summer as he has completed a season long loan to West Ham.
The Italian international was heavily linked with a move to the Emirates with reports suggesting a deal could be announced soon for the 1991-born forward to the Emirates Stadium.
The Hammers have signed the Italia international in a deal worth in the rejoin of £5m, with the deal to become a permanent for an additional £20m based on his West Ham appearances and performance.
Zaza, struggled to find play time in manager Massimiliano Allegri team last season, he scored 8 goals in 24 appearances for the Serie A champions.
Zaza said on the club’s official website:
“I want to thank everyone for welcoming me including the fans and everyone at the club. I wanted to start a new experience and I feel this is the right choice for me. I have been fortunate enough to have already played at the new Stadium with a different shirt. It is a beautiful stadium and I felt the warmth of the fans and this was a big reason why I wanted to join the club. I want to become a better player and I know I can do that at West Ham. Unfortunately we could not qualify for the Europa League, but I am hoping I can help the club do that next season.”
