Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

Arsenal are interested in signing Real Madrid youngster Marcos Llorente, according to reports.

The youngster is currently on a loan spell at Alaves on a season-long loan and has been impressive since joining the club. Reports now claim we have been impressed by his performances this season and are weighing the possibility of making a move in the future.

Arsenal have taken special interest in signing talented players all these years and we have been very lucky with those we signed from the La Liga in the past. Cesc Fabregas and Hector Bellerin were signed from Barcelona’s academy at very young ages and developed into world class players under the tutelage of Arsenal coaches.

Although there are some like Fran Merida who didn’t make it with us but Alaves has shown he is a bright player that has what it takes to play at the top and Goal now claims we are considering a shock move for the centre midfielder.

The midfielder who is just 21 is already standing out among his peers but his chances to Madrid’s first team appears very far away due to the Plethora of stars at the Bernabeu.

Ivan Gazidis recently revealed our club scouts will pay special attention to promising youngsters like Llorente with a view of luring them to the Emirates and we are likely going to continue keeping tabs on his performances.

We have already built a reputation of developing youngsters over the years and that should convince the midfielder to join us as we would offer him a quicker route to Champions League football, which is every footballer’s dream.
