LATEST: New Signing Makes Bold Admission About This Arsenal Player

Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

Granit Xhaka has hailed Mesut Ozil as the best player he has played with in his career.

Xhaka completed a £33m move to Arsenal last summer and has already made an immediate impact on his arrival. However, the competition for places in midfield has not given the Switzerland international an extended run in the first team but he has done well every time he has been called upon.

Prior to his move to Arsenal, he was considered the best player in Borussia Monchengladbach and just few months later, he is lining up along quality players like him. He has now delved into the debate of who is the best player he has played with in his career and unsurprisingly the midfielder mentioned Arsenal’s talisman Mesut Ozil.

In an interview with as quoted by Sport Review, Xhaka admitted that the German is the best player he has ever played with.

“Mesut has a quality that I personally have never experienced before.

“He has an absolute magic left foot, is fast – even if it does not look like that sometimes and he is one of the best in the world.”

It’s not surprising, is it?

Ozil is arguably Arsenal’s best player alongside Alexis Sanchez and the German’s quality is not in any doubt.

The German gave us a glimpse of his quality in our 5-1 win over West Ham on Saturday and is on track to become a club legend if he stays here for a long time. I don’t think there is any one in the world who wouldn’t agree with Xhaka that Ozil is one of the best in the world.

As a fan, I’m excited to watch the German play week in week out and hopefully I’ll still watch him in an Arsenal shirt for many more years.
