Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

Arsenal are set to join the race to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic, according to reports.

Pulisic is regarded as one of the most exciting young talents in world football and the youngster has been impressive for BVB this season.

His performances have reportedly placed him on the radar of big clubs and Arsenal are one of the clubs watching the winger with keen interest.

Liverpool are the club thought to be most serious in signing the 18 year old because of Jurgen Klopp’s ties with the German club. Pulisic joined BVB in 2015 when Klopp was still in charge of BVB and it is not really surprising he is interested in bringing him to Anfield.

However, Italian publication Calcio Mercato Web via IBtimes UK claims Arsenal and Tottenham are set to rival Liverpool in the race to sign Pulisic.

The report claims Arsenal are considering making a move for the winger who has scored two goals and provided four assists in just ten league games this season.

The youngster’s contract doesn’t run out until 2019, which will put BVB in a strong place during negotiations and as expected, there are already whispers that it would take more than $31m to sign the lad.

Pulisic looks like one destined for a big future and would be a good signing for us with the future in mind. However, I doubt if there is anything concrete in this rumor at the moment.

Most likely this is one of the numerous transfer rumors linking a player to Arsenal and nothing concrete happens at the end of the day.
