Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

Arsenal have been keeping tabs on Inter Milan youngster Yao Guy-Eloge-Koffi and could now make a move for the defender, according to reports.

Arsenal have been a club that prioritises signing youngsters, helping them to become top footballers and the amount of youngsters we have been linked with in recent weeks shouldn’t be a surprise.

According to Italian Newspaper Tuttosport via Gunnersphere.com, Arsenal have been monitoring Yao’s development at Inter for quite some time and could now make a concrete bid in the winter transfer window.

The report claims Inter’s owners the Suning group are planning a major overhaul of the club’s playing staffs and Yao is one of the players expected to be affected.

Arsenal who have been monitoring the defender for sometime could now be tempted to make a concrete bid.

Well, I do not know much about Yao but from a little research, I found out that the defender spent last season on loan at the Italian Serie B where he helped Crotone secure promotion to the Italian top flight.

It remains to be seen if Wenger will firm up his “reported” interest in the defender and if he does, I’m not convinced he will be part of our first team immediately as he may need to go out on loan to develop properly.

However, I wouldn’t be surprised if something concrete materialises because we have been linked with a number of youngsters in recent weeks only for it to emerge a few days later that we were never interested in any of them. We will have to wait to see how things play out concerning Yao.
