Arsenal are reportedly one of three Premier League clubs interested in signing Inter Milan striker Gabriel Barbosa also known as Gabigol.
The young striker who moved to the San Siro in the last transfer window has struggled to adapt to life in the Serie A, playing only 16 minutes of football for Inter since his move and it appears he now wants to leave in January.
Talksport have now claimed that Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in signing the young striker and it also suggested we may make a concrete bid for the player in the new year.
The report claims Chelsea and Leicester City are also interested in the striker and are monitoring his situation.
There is no doubt that Gabigol would be looking to leave Inter in the winter transfer window but it is unlikely that he will be moving to the Emirates. There is little chance Inter will want to sell the striker considering his age and talent, so a loan move is the most ideal option
I don’t see the possibility of Wenger making a loan move for Gabigol considering the fact that we are not desperately in need of attacking reinforcements. Gabigol won’t even make the squad ahead of Akpom who we are looking to send on loan, so it doesn’t make any sense being linked with the Brazilian.
I actually think the reason we are being linked with Gabigol now is because we were interested in signing him in the summer but the moment he chose Inter, his boat sailed away.
