Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

Interest in Alexis Sanchez is growing by the day, according to reports.

Sanchez has established himself as one of Premier League’s best players since he left Barcelona in 2014 and it is not actually surprising he is attracting so much interest.

The Chilean who has been a key part of Arsenal squad this season is yet to sign a contract extension to his contract which expires in 2018.

Arsenal have been in talks with the player to extend his deal but he is stalling on a new contract, insisting for a larger pay cheque than the Gunners have offered.

Negotiations with the player is expected to continue but there is no guarantee he will put pen to paper soon and according to Don Balon via the Daily Express, three clubs are waiting on the wings to snap up the striker if he doesn’t sign a new deal before the end of the season.

Paris Saint Germain, Inter Milan and an unnamed Chinese club are the three clubs reportedly monitoring the Gunners talisman.

The French giants are leading the race to striker and are more than willing to match his wage demands to lure him to Paris.

Inter Milan who are now being financed by wealthy Chinese owners are also willing to spend big on the striker and could sanction a bid worth up to £85m to sign the Chilean.

A Chinese club that is yet to be revealed is also in the running to sign the striker and with current developments, money won’t be a problem for the unnamed Chinese club.

This must be a difficult time for Gooners and I must say all these speculations on the striker’s future is already getting me worried. Sanchez has been key to everything good for us this season and will be a big miss if he is allowed to leave.

I really do not know what to think of this Sanchez contract renewal saga but I think it will be of the club’s best interest if this is resolved soonest.
