Alexis Sanchez Comes Under Heavy Pressure By Fellow Arsenal Player

Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

Arsenal legend Charlie Nicholas has urged Alexis Sanchez to change his ways.

The forward has been stalling on signing a new contract at Arsenal, with some reports claiming he is holding the club to ransom by demanding a huge and to some extent an unrealistic pay rise to his current deal.

Sanchez’ future was further thrown into doubts last week when he stirred up rumors with his action after the 3-3 draw against Bournemouth last Tuesday.

The striker stormed off the pitch after the game and it was claimed he didn’t mention a word to his teammates in the dressing room.

Nicholas has now revealed he thoughts about the players action.

“Alexis Sanchez is throwing tantrums because he was doing brilliantly before Olivier Giroud came in,” Nicholas told Sky Sports, as quoted by The Express.

“Yes, Giroud is scoring goals but what else does he do? Sanchez was doing that and far more.

“Saying that, Sanchez is a top-class player but he’s got no divine right to just stand out wide and expect everybody to pass to him.

“I don’t know what is going on with him – I think he needs telling and if he doesn’t change he needs selling.

“This team has helped make him a star and he needs to show some appreciation rather than throwing tantrums.”

So according to Charlie, Sanchez needs telling or selling but for me I don’t think he needs “telling” because he is old enough to know what to do and if he refuses to do what’s right, he should be shown the exit door.

Gooners, what do you think? Does Sanchez need selling or telling?
