Revealed, Real Reason Why Alexis Sanchez Is Yet To Sign For Arsenal

Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

Atletico Madrid will try to sign Alexis Sanchez if they lose Antoinee Greizmann, according to the Express.

Sanchez has been linked with more than six clubs this season and I’m sure Gooners are no longer enjoying any of these. His future has been plunged into doubt due to his refusal to sign a new contract with us.

The forward has been linked with rival clubs Manchester City and Chelsea among others but it appears it is Manchester United who will have a say in the Chilean’s future.

Jose Mourinho is interested in signing Atletico’s Greizmann who is also an Arsenal target.

And Spanish Don Balon claims Atletico will move for Sanchez if they lose Greizmann next summer.

The report also claim Atletico will ask for Sanchez if Arsenal attempt to sign any of their players next summer and it mentioned Saul Niguez as one player Wenger could be interested in signing.

The Spanish club are likely to get a club record fee for Greizmann and will have more than enough to lure Sanchez but my question is can they afford the striker’s wages.

Atletico can be regarded as the “Arsenal of La Liga” as they also work with a tight budget like us. It’s weird that Don Balon think Atletico can afford Sanchez but Arsenal can’t afford to keep him.

This is definitely one of those rumours that lacks credibility, it’s hard to think a club who can’t keep its own best player will be able to sign a player of Sanchez’s quality.
