Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

Manchester City are determined to sign Jack Wilshere and will explore the possibility of bringing the midfielder to the Emirates once he returns from his loan spell at Bournemouth, according to

Wilshere is already into the penultimate year of his contract at Arsenal and the midfielder is reportedly fearing for his future because Arsenal are yet to offer him a new deal.

The report claims the midfielder is reportedly weighing up his next career move and is contemplating whether to sign a contract extension at the Emirates or move on.

Manchester City are waiting on the wings to sign the England international who has been impressive at Bournemouth this season.

Pep Guardiola has been a big admirer of Wilshere since the England international put on a brilliant display against the Spaniard’s Barcelona in 2011 and will definitely welcome the opportunity of adding the player to his current Man City team.

Arsenal are yet to offer Wilshere a new deal because he is away on loan, enjoying himself and the club want him to concentrate on his football.

Wenger has revealed the club’s plans to keep Wilshere, insisting talks will commence at the right time which is likely to be when the player returns from his Bournemouth spell.

Although the player will have one year left in his deal by then, I don’t think we will have too many problems convincing him to commit his future here. Jack has been a Gunner since he was nine and represents every thing about the modern day Arsenal, so it is unlikely he will opt for a move to the Etihad instead of extending his stay here.
