Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has urged Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil to put pen to paper on a new deal at the Emirates.
Giroud who penned a new deal with Arsenal last week along with Francis Coquelin and Laurent Koscielny has urged Sanchez and Ozil to follow suit.
Arsenal have tied several of its first team players to new deals already but have faced difficulty in convincing Sanchez and Ozil to sign new deals. The duo were the first set of players the club opened talks with but an agreement is yet to be reached.
And Giroud who commenced talk on his new deal a couple of weeks ag has urged the duo to quickly commit their futures to the club.
“Obviously we hope they’re going to do the same but it’s up to the player,” Giroud told Sky Sports News about Sanchez and Ozil’s contract renewals.
“I really wanted to sign another contract and I don’t know what they want, but hopefully they will do it soon.”
Not just Giroud, Gooners are also hoping the duo extend their stay here. They have been crucial to our play this season and their presence here will place us in a strong position to challenge for titles.
