Olivier Giroud has revealed that the whole Arsenal squad wants Arsene Wenger to put pen to paper on a new deal at the Emirates.

Wenger is in the final year of his contract at the Emirates and he is yet to extend his deal.  At first reports claimed the boss was unsure whether to continue or not and was going to wait until the end of the season before making a decision but fresh reports have now claimed he will sign a new two year deal will be signed in March.

Giroud has now revealed that he wants the uncertainty surrounding Wenger’s future to be resolved as soon as possible.

“I want to be clear on what Wenger is doing, Giroud said, as quoted by Goal.

“The club knows that I am, above all, here because of Arsene Wenger – who signed me and whose trust I have.

“The club also knows that I just want to be clear on what the manager will do.”

The French striker also stated that he isn’t the only one waiting for Wenger to sign a new deal at the club as it is the same with every Arsenal player.

He said: “We hope that the boss will sign a new contract because we all want to keep going with this squad.

“It [would] be nice news for the team and the club. From my side, obviously it’s a good thing because I feel very good at Arsenal.”

Ozil made same claims about Wenger’s future last week and it is obvious that everyone at the club wants the boss to stay here beyond his current deal. It’s now left for him to make a decision on his future quickly.

Wenger has been in charge at the helm of affairs for two decades and has become a part and parcel of the club, so it isn’t really surprising that everyone wants him to stay.

I do want him to stay too, how about you?
