Goodbye Alexis Sanchez- Club Offers Star Outrageous Weekly Wage To Seal Deal

Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

Juventus are determined to sign Alexis Sanchez, according to reports.

The Serie A side are big admirers of the Chile international and tried to sign him last summer but were unable to convince Wenger to sell the forward. They still hold a concrete interest in the forward and it is believed they will try to sign him next summer.

According to Italian publication Tuttosport via the Daily Express, Juventus have hatched a plan to tempt Arsenal into selling the forward. The report claims the Old Ladies will use Arsenal’s reported interest in Miralem Pjanic to get Sanchez.

Arsene Wenger is said to be preparing a summer move for Pjanic and Juventus could offer the Bosnia and Herzegovenia midfielder as a makeweight to sign Sanchez.

Although Juve would prefer a straight deal to sign Sanchez but they know it would be difficult for them as the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain who have more financial power are also interested in the forward.

It remains to be seen if the prospect of getting Pjanic will tempt Wenger into losing Sanchez.

Under normal circumstances, I wouldn’t swap Sanchez for Pjanic, not now and not in the future but should the Chilean refuse to sign a new deal before the end of the season, I wouldn’t mind swapping both players.

Although the duo plays in different positions and would be difficult to compare them, Sanchez importance and contribution to our squad would definitely be greater than that of Pjanic.

The whole Sanchez story is beginning to unsettle the Arsenal fan base. The forward is arguably the best player in our squad and would be a big loss if he leaves.

We hope Wenger finds a way to convince the forward to sign a contract extension soonest.
