MEGA Star Offered £180,000-a-week Deal As Club Desperately Wants Deal To Happen

Goonersden brings you news from top football news sites from the likes of ESPN, SkySport, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Metro… We also Analyse football, player, transfer and predict Arsenal starting line-up.

Juventus are desperate to sign Alexis Sanchez and will not give up on signing the Chilean despite Arsenal’s warning that he isn’t for sale.

The Italian giants are admirers of the forward and have monitored him since when he was at Udinese but they missed out on his services on two occasions and now they are determined to be successful this time around.

According to the Daily Mirror via the Daily Star, Juventus have made contact with Arsenal over the possibility of signing Sanchez and have even offered to include Miralem Pjanic in a potential deal.

Juve are confident they can sign Sanchez and are willing to spend up to £60m on the Chilean as well as offering him a staggering wage package.

But Arsenal are unwilling to sell the forward and are confident of convincing him to sign a new deal even though he has already rejected an offer worth around £180,000 a week.

The player reportedly wants a lot more than what we have offered but Wenger is not prepared to spend more than that and that has placed negotiations on a stand-still.

Juventus are hoping Sanchez’s contract renewal doesn’t improve before summer so they would have a chance of signing him but I’m confident Arsenal can agree a deal before then.

This is definitely a tricky situation for Arsenal, Sanchez will not be short of offers if we don’t meet his demands and should the striker continue to play hard ball, we may be forced to let him leave at the end of the season. I really hope it doesn’t get to this stage.

I just feel we should pay the forward what he wants. I think he has done enough to show he deserves a big salary package.
