Arsenal are ready to make a big bid for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, as the striker is looking to leave Real Madrid and the La Liga giants are willing to sell for £51m.
Morata was heavily linked with a move to the Emirates in the last transfer window but a move didn’t materialize as Real Madrid were keen to keep him. Wenger subsequently signed Lucas Perez from Depression La Coruna for about £19m.
The Metro are citing a report coming from Spanish outlet Diario Gol that claims Morata is now looking to leave after becoming increasingly frustrated with life on the bench.
Wenger is now lining up a mammoth offer which would be difficult for Real to resist. The report also claimed Morata would be open to a move away from Madrid as president Florentino Perez is ready to sell Morata as he’s grown tired of his bad attitude.
The 24-year-old was sensational at Juventus which made Madrid trigger his buyback clause which was inserted in his contract when he was sold to Juve in 2014.
